Third Volume of The Foolscap

The third volume of The Foolscap is now available online! A hard copy can also be picked up from the Kelly Library circulation desk while quantities last.

BMSSA Spring 2016 Election Results

Dear BMS students,

I sincerely thank all the candidates and voters who participated in the BMSSA Spring 2016 Elections. I understand it’s a busy time for everyone.

Also, the journal launch for the third volume of the Foolscap will take place on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 4:00-5:30PM at the Kelly Café, Kelly Library. Come and celebrate with us! Refreshments will be provided.

Online Voting Available from Mar. 30 – Apr.1

Online voting for the Book and Media Studies Student Association Spring 2016 Elections will be available from Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 12AM to Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:59PM. In-person voting will also be available at select times in the Kelly Cafe – Kelly Library. For more information, please visit the BMSSA website at All students who are registered in the Book and Media Studies program (major or minor) or enrolled in 0.5FCE or more of BMS courses in the 2015-2016 academic year are eligible to vote: one ballot per student.

Election results will be announced on Monday, April 4, 2016 via the BMSSA social media accounts.

Are you looking to expand your campus experiences and make a difference? Join the BMSSA executive team!

The Book and Media Studies Student Association is holding its Spring 2016 Elections. All students part of the BMS major or minor program are eligible to self-nominate for any of the executive positions listed below.

Executive Positions:
Secretary and Communications Officer
Academic and Social Events Coordinator
Journal Editor
Artistic Director

To self-nominate, please submit a brief description of your qualifications, year of study, and program enrolments during the nomination period to
Nomination Period: Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016 to Monday, March 28th, 2016 at 11:59PM.

All students enrolled in one or more BMS courses are eligible to vote. Voting will take place at the Kelly Café, John. M. Kelly Library on the following days.

Results will be announced on Monday, April 4th, 2016.
