On September 29, esteemed journalist and Vatican-watcher Robert Mickens is coming to St. Michael’s College, UofT. All Book and Media, Christianity and Culture, and Theology students are invited to attend a public lecture on “The Future of Pope Francis’ Pontificate: What the Papal Visit to Cuba and the USA might tell us about the Synod on the Family” from 7-9pm at Our Lady of Sorrows.
In addition, a student workshop/Q&A will be held on the same day from 10am-12pm. The topic will be on the media coverage of the Pope and Vatican today. Dr. McGowan, the program director, is looking for 6 Book and Media Studies students to attend the student session. Please contact BMSSA, if interested.
