Fall Office Hours Posted

Are you stoked for school to start tomorrow?

Click here to view our calendar, on which you can find our office hour schedule. If you have any questions about school or the association, or just want to hang out, stop by to talk! Our office is room 212 in the Kelly Library.

If none of the scheduled times work for you, send us a message at bookandmedia@utoronto.ca to make an appointment or to ask your questions via email.

See you soon!

Welcome to BMS!

Hello there! I’m glad you’ve found your way to our humble website.

Feel free to poke around and learn all about the best student association at the University of Toronto. If after exploring you have a hankering to learn more, we encourage you to contact us. Whether you’re majoring or minoring in Book & Media Studies, are enrolled in a Book & Media Studies course, or are just interested in learning more about the program or about us, you’re welcome to join our Facebook group, send us an email, or drop in during our office hours. The fall term’s office hour schedule will be posted just before the fall term starts.

One of my hopes for BMSSA this year is that we increase the amount, and the quality, of conversation among students, and between students and faculty. Of course the easiest (and most fun!) way to do this is to attend our social and academic events, and to invite your friends to join you. If, however, you don’t feel like such events are for you, there are many other ways to participate.

Have something to say about the program? Come on out to our meetings.

Want to tell everyone about the pros and cons of your new Kobo? Write a blog post to be posted on our website.

Can’t decide what courses to take next semester? Visit us during office hours and we can help.

What I’m trying to say is that if you want to get involved in BMSSA, there is always a way for you to do so. We aim to celebrate the diversity of our program’s student body, and we hope that all of our students chip in by whatever means they’re most comfortable to make this year BMSSA’s best year yet.

Here’s to 2013-2014!
