A General Meeting and A Journal Fair.

Hello BMSers and welcome to our fourth week of classes. Can you believe its already been a month?! Your Executive team has been able to meet up a few times this month (find our meeting minutes) and have some great things planned already! This week:

Our General Meeting: Is to be held in Carr Hall Room 107 from 3-5. Take this time to come out and meet the Executive and fellow program members, ask questions about the program, get some free food and drinks, and get to know the great program that you are involved in. Also, if you are interested in being a year rep, this is a great place to familiarize yourself with some of what could be your responsibilities.  If you can’t make it right at three, you are still more than welcome to come out. We look forward to meeting you!

The Undergraduate Journals Fair: is this Wednesday (Oct. 1) from 11-1 in the Kelly Cafe. Come out to see last years journal (the first of its kind!) and find out what you can do to be published in this years! This is a great oppourtunity to get some of your own work published, which can be useful when making portfolios to take to interviews in the future.

Guidelines for submissions include:

– 6-10 pages, must be written for a BMS course, deadline for submissions is December 3rd.

Have a great week and we hope to see you at one of these events. Happy Monday!
